Vandals on the Ranch
We have had at least 4 street lights shot out, probably with a pellet or air gun. There are at least 6 more that are damaged. IREA has been notified and they will be sending a crew out to repair the lights. The costs of repairs end up back with us since IREA is our cooperative.

When you couple this with other vandalism that has occurred within the past few months, (fires started at the Park, paint ball damage, vehicles driving thru the median, some sprinkler damage and vehicles driving on the bike/hiking paths), your HOA Board has implemented a reward of $1000 for the arrest and conviction of any vandals on the Ranch. Owners are urged to report any vandalism to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department at 303-660-7500. It is up to each of us to help stop these vandals. Your HOA Executive Board, 2-11-2009

The Reconstruction of the Plum Creek Parkway Interchange
with Interstate 25

Nestled against the bluffs just south of Castle Rock, Bell Mountain Ranch is Colorado living at its best. Sprawling acreage and gently rolling terrain laced with winding trails are all part of an exclusive master planned covenant controlled community with paved roads, community water and state-of-the-art telecommunications capacity. Bell Mountain residents enjoy peaceful lives in harmony with nature, living in fine custom homes where they can work, play, entertain, and grow in a way no other community can offer.

Crystal-clear morning air, the expansive views of the blue-gray spires of the Continental Divide, and the awe inspiring sunsets are what makes Bell Mountain Ranch special. Occasionally, a neighbor or two will drop in - perhaps a curious elk or a pesky night owl.

In 1861, while the civil war raged in the East, Dr. William A. Bell staked his claim on Bell Mountain, homesteading one of the most beautiful tracts on the Front Range. For more than 135 years, Bell Mountain Ranch had been a working horse ranch, a place to raise champions and children, a place to make a home.

Today Bell Mountain Ranch is home to 305 families on 2,040 acres with nearly 1,000 acres of open space. Home sites average between 5 and 12 acres with many zoned as horse property. Residents enjoy and value the 20 miles of dedicated natural hiking & equestrian trails and over 7 miles of walking & biking trails. For the enjoyment of the residents, there is a private mountain, a four-acre park with a playground and picnic cabana; a meeting place for community baseball, concerts, parties and even movies in the summer. If your children are of school age, they will attend Douglas County Schools which are highly acclaimed for academic excellence.

Bell Mountain Ranch is convenient for commuters located 4 miles south of Castle Rock, just off I-25. Bell Mountain Ranch is less than 20 minutes from the Denver Tech Center, E-470 and Park Meadows Mall and only 40 minutes from downtown Denver or Colorado Springs.
